Interesting film about the Uranium prospecting craze that happened in the 50s, where everyone was out there with their geiger counters looking for radioactive stones!

Fantastic movie all about gossip mongering as a teacher assigns a book to class which a parent finds on a "list" somewhere full of subversive books. Soon, he is ostracized for this decision, and soon the school newspaper is under scrutiny too.. Problem is, the original parent's son (who walks with an unexplained limp?) is one of the writers! This one is just great.
Petroleum At The New York World's Fair

Great film not only showcasing petroleum, the world's fair, but for what goes IN a world's fair building? We see how the Petroleum people have created live action shows, movies, displays, a real time oil rig and a restaraunt!
Jack And Jill: A Bell Systems Safety Film

Very enjoyable office safety film featuring actual Bell Systems employees showing several office mistakes one could encounter. Filled with odd sexist language and a great organ score.
Fastest Port in the West

A pretty great movie about Oakland's shipping industry, featuring narration, and also testimonials from shippers about why Oakland is a great port to port at. Makes many good cases about it's speed, technologies, access of alternate transport and process streamlining. Backed by a weird old electrnonic soundtrack that makes you wonder when the Italian Zombies are going to come out.
Northern California Bell Telephone Systems Customer Service Film
Просмотров 90Год назад
Curious film featuring a guy at a desk shilling out different types of customer service experienes, and then we cut to the actual (?) customers telling of their experiences. It's a pretty GENERIC film, but the customer service stories are interestingly dated, and some are rather strange.
People and Particles (1961)

Shows the creation of the Cambridge Electronic Accelerator which was built as a way to show Cosmic Rays in a Spark Chamber. Co-Sponsored by Harvard University and Massachusetts institute of Technology. Lots of science nerds, theory and trial and errors. A fun watch if you're a fan of Half-Life.

1954 Buick in the Studebaker used car department at 1:08-1:09
Miss the big deluxe. ive always hated the thickburgers. The star burger was good and the california double cheeseburger.
i remember trying to make the KI⚡⚡ logo ! 😂😝
Building ramps and jumping trash cans with friends trying to be just like EK ! How kids today are missing out ! Nothing better than having Roger Staubach and evil kenevel for heros growing up
Feels like a precursor to a lot of the surreal absurd commercials we have today
AMF did bicycles too?
If Evel Knievel is endorsing his name to some cheesy AMF product ask him this did he take off any of those AMF Products off any sweet jumps?😂😂😂
My mom was obviously using the wrong stuff. She never flitted about and danced when she dusted.
Sold! I want one!
Do you really want to take safety tips from Evel Knievel LOL
wtf? i only know AMF as a bowling alley...
I really love the commercial! Reminds me of other rock bands from the 60s! However, there are some questions I have to ask: Who voiced the 4 boys? Who animated the commercial? What are the names of the 4 boys?
The good ol days
I had the Evel Knievel big wheel as a kid.
Wikipedia: Ursula Thiess (May 15, 1924 - June 19, 2010) was a German film actress who had a brief Hollywood career in the 1950s. She met Robert Taylor in 1952, and they married on May 23, 1954, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She virtually abandoned her film career to become a mother and housewife. The Taylors had two children Terrance "Terry" (b. June 18, 1955, in Santa Monica, California) and Tessa (b. August 16, 1959, in Santa Monica). They moved with Ursula's two children from her previous marriage, to their 114-acre ranch in Brentwood, California, in 1956, and lived there until Taylor's death from cancer in 1969.
114 acres in Brentwood. Crazy!
Instant coffee ewas a big deal back then before 'freeze dried' coffee came in!
I love how they used some well-worn municipal park as the setting.
Everything was real back in the day. I doubt they even got a permit to film there. 😅😅
I remember being so nervous about the Snake River rocket jump...lol maybe that's why I'm a worry wart to this day. Long Live the other King! /,,/,
Definitely the best burger made by Hardee’s
I'm about 15 minutes in. I wonder if she will catch the mirror joke later on. So far I don't think even one of the react channels has. Edit: Nope.
One of the Most depressing commercials ive ever seen
At age 77, I still miss this wonderful, wholesome program. Thank you to the entire production team, a perfect cast and most of all our Lord and Savior Jesus.
I love apples, pears and strawberries. Too bad Fancy Fruit Life Savers don't exist anymore.
Den2 BOB HEATLIE
I find this adorable.
(´゚д゚`)Not wearing a mask
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHAMP!!!
That redhead is cute!
What a tacky display of pointless nonsense. Just an excuse for developers to make deals using taxpayer funds. Lasting legacy: the sellout of our city to foreigners. Remember the Expo land swindle brought to us by Grace McCarthy and her insider Socreds (became provincial Liberals, now BC United)? No, don’t remember this? We sold most of the Expo site to a foreign buyer - AND paid for the cleanup of the toxic soil on which Expo 86 was built. Screw Expo! I went for 1 hour of. 3-day pass.
Always wanted a LiteBrite but never got one. 😂🥹
THE REAL ONE AND ONLY !!!!!
We need to make malt liquor big again. So many people in these ads were the coolest MFer's that ever lived.
How did they do that pouring from across the table trick lol
it’s a mechanical pump contraption under/behind the table that just sprays it out like it would from a thin hose with decent pressure.. then they must have tested it DOZENS of times to get the right pressure /distance ratio, probably marked the table for where the cup should be placed and the distance it should be “poured from”- and then boom great practical effect.
Hard times, My mother live in Ocean Park then she was a teenager, not much money 💴 she worked at the Bingo hall and the Theater, 2 things I did back when I was a teen.
wtf happened to Patti and Ron Jr later… smh nutcases
Wow. It is the same actress
Unfortunately for the text comment with this video, the LaHave river is in Nova Scotia, not Newfoundland.
Whenever I see Uncle Arthur, I can't help but think of Aunt Clara... and her doorknob collection.

And now the remaining Farrah Fawcett dolls from last year are in the markdown bins. Ms. Fawcett's publicist was probably none-too-pleased about that. LOL
Gaylord is better

I remember I begged my dad to buy this for our dog when I was a kid. My dog hated it.
She doesn’t seem startled on the least by the man who broke into her house asking about wetness 😂
